The V&A Waterfront in partnership with Platform Creative presents 100 Beautiful Baskets.
We created a new and updated logo and ID for the V&A Waterfront's spectacular new 100 Beautiful Baskets exhibition, which was a showcase of the best of basket craft across the African continent.
Pulling from 2020's 100 Beautiful Things campaign, this logo update sees the implementation of organic curves and bolder, chunkier forms throughout. This update seeks to communicate the vibrant personality and spirit present in each piece (and maker) on display.
We designed and developed the data collection website for Unequal Stories. The websites purpose is for people to share their stories on gender inequalities in creative industries.
The design focuses on people feeling that they are being heard therefore it is typographical in style. The website includes a number of functions that allows the user to customise their experience. This ensures that they feel that they are in complete control of their story and experience.
The project was done in collaboration with the University of Johannesburg and Falmouth University in the UK. Creative Direction done by Dixon Design.
We were tasked with the design of the new product line for the new Groot Constantia Gift shop. We focused on bringing in a modern feel while maintaining the heritage and prestige of the wine farm.

International Wool Textile Organisation, also known as IWTO, is the international body representing the interests of the world's wool-textile trade and industry. Their ethos stems from free and fair treatment, love for what they do and respect for the world that they live it. Their collateral is clean, simple and beautiful. It is a perfect representation of who they are.
Terbodore’s cold brew drinks are based on unique South African flavours and the design is uniquely Terbodore. With the boom of cold brew, we put a fresh spin on the tonic based cold brew.
Raw Love Pets believes that when it comes to animals, we all have a responsibility to love and take care of our pets while respecting the rights of animals that provide us with sustenance. We created a friendly and beautiful set of packaging that portrays their love and respect for all animals.
Big Dog Café is the new café extension of Terbodore coffee.
The café premises is the heart of Terbodore in Franschhoek, Cape Town - housing their roastery, restaurant and offices. Plus a few of the Great Danes who inspired the brand for good measure.
A Kenyan-based NGO asked us to design a toolkit for teachers in the local community. The toolkit needed to help facilitate lessons, practical activities and learner growth. We chose to keep everything black and white to minimise teacher's printing costs.

We designed the identity system for 100 beautiful things. Curated by Platform Creative Agency and presented by The V&A Waterfront. It was clear from the beginning that this campaign was important and would have such a positive effect.
The identity system is clean and simply beautiful. The project was a quick response to Covid-19. It was a positive reaction campaign that aligns itself with Platform and the V&A Waterfronts values of supporting local businesses.

We designed eleven bright coffee bags for Zürich’s award-winning coffee roasters, ViCafé. Each pattern was inspired by the bean’s country of origin - a shield for Kenya, a pattern inspired by a swinging orangetang for Sumatra, et cetera.
The Harrington building is situated in a developing area of the CBD. Restaurants, galleries and co-working spaces surround it and create an electric atmosphere of creativity and innovation. Blend properties asked us to create a publication that embodies the spirit of the area.
Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa, collects, preserves, researches, and exhibits twenty-first century art from Africa and its Diaspora. We helped to flesh out the brand identity across the museum's collateral.
We were asked to rebrand a Natal Midlands coffee roastery. The brand identity is centred around the farm life and traditions of the Macaskill family.

Truth Coffee is somewhat of an institution in Cape Town. They asked us to create a packaging for their 2.25kg blend with the theme of The Manhattan Project. Inspired by propaganda art through the ages, but paired back to the graphic black and white of the Truth brand, the packaging embodies the spirit of the time.
The Bertha Centre for Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship released
a publication called "Inside|Out" which
we helped conceptualise and design.
The five editions each focused on innovative thinking within a specific sector of society. Subsequently, we were allowed to explore each edition's essence through within design.

We designed the look and feel
for the South African furniture pavilion at London 100% design show. This is our third year designing show identities for the SAFI, having previously designed stands for Paris and Dubai.
Commissioned by Cape Wool to design and implement South Africa's first official Wool Week. We drew inspiration from the nature of weaving and knitting - warp and weft.
We understand how important
a logo is, both to a client, and to their consumers. It is the symbol that represents their company's ideology, values and beliefs. Working with entrepreneurs, brand managers and business owners has cemented
our belief that designing a logo and logotype is a unique process combining psychology, intuition and vision.
We helped realise the vision for this piece of architectural history in Cape Town for a private developer.
